The role
Rutledge Recruitment is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistants to join our established community care team in the Newry area. If you are passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential sitting services and personalised support to elderly and vulnerable adults within their own homes. This includes assisting with personal care, preparing meals, prompting medication, and providing companionship. Our sitting services typically range from 2 to 9 hours, with both day and night shifts available to meet individual needs.
We are looking for individuals who are dedicated, reliable, and ready to contribute to their local community. Full training is provided, making this an excellent role for those new to care or experienced professionals looking for flexible opportunities. This role is subject to an Access NI Enhanced Vetting Check.

What you will bring.
- 01You must hold a valid UK driving licence
- 02You must have access to a vehicle for work purposes
- 03You must be eligible to work in the UK
- 04You must be willing to complete an Enhanced Access NI check
- 05You must be willing to register with NISCC
- 06You should have a good standard of verbal and written English
- 07You should possess a caring, friendly, and professional attitude
