Modern Slavery Statement
This statement is made pursuant to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps Rutledge Group has taken to prevent slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.
Our Organisation
Rutledge Group is a Northern Ireland recruitment, training and care services provider operating from 18 branches across Northern Ireland. We have been operating since 1989 and place candidates into permanent, temporary and contract roles across 14 sectors.
Our Commitment
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere within our business or supply chain.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain consists primarily of Northern Ireland-based suppliers providing IT, training materials, office services and professional services. We engage with employers across both the public and private sectors in Northern Ireland.
Policies and Due Diligence
We operate the following policies that describe our approach to identifying modern slavery risks:
- Whistleblowing Policy
- Recruitment & Vetting Policy (Right to Work, Access NI)
- Safeguarding Policy
- Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy
Right to Work Checks
All candidates registering with Rutledge undergo Right to Work checks in line with Home Office guidance. We do not engage with international health recruitment and operate exclusively within Northern Ireland.
Training
All Rutledge staff receive briefings on the signs of modern slavery and the internal escalation process during induction.
