LEVEL 2 DIPLOMA IN WORK BASED ANIMAL CARE
This course is a wide spectrum course for anyone who works, or would like to work, in animal care. Five pathways are available to enable candidates to choose the route which best suits their needs.
This course is aimed at those who want to demonstrate their ability to work effectively with animals. It is an entry level course and can be a stepping-stone for those with more experience who want a qualification to prove their competency.
This is a flexible qualification that can cover various pathways including pet care and retail, animal training, dog grooming, animal care and welfare and zoos/wildlife premises. There are a range of mandatory and optional units depending on the pathway chosen. This could include maintaining the cleanliness and bio security of the environment, providing and evaluating basic animal training programmes and preparing/grooming and feeding animals.

LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN WORK BASED ANIMAL CARE
Like the level 2 course, the Level 3 Diploma enables learners to choose from eight pathways to allow you to develop your skill and experience in the area you choose. The course has a range of mandatory and options units depending on the pathway chosen.
This course is designed for those who have experience working in animal care and who want to demonstrate their competency or prepare for applying for a higher level role.
The course offers eight pathways including animal care, welfare and training, dog grooming, pet care and retail, dog/animal wardens etc. Learners must complete a range of mandatory units in addition to optional units dependant on the pathway chosen. This could include managing volunteers, styling and finishing of dogs, managing the care of young animals or those that have been abused, harmed or abandoned.

LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN DENTAL NURSING
This course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to provide support in a range of dental treatments and to support chairside work. It enables candidates to register as a dental nurse with the GDC.
This course is designed for those who are seeking employment or career progression in Dental Nursing. It enables candidates to learn, develop and practice the skills required in this sector.
The course content is mapped to the GDC learning outcomes and the relevant national occupational standards. This includes preparing for practice in dental nursing, health and safety and prevention and control of infection in a dental setting, first aid and medical emergencies and providing support for procedures and treatments.
