LEVEL 2 DIPLOMA IN VEHICLE FITTING COMPETENCE
This course provides learners with the knowledge and skills to be competent to work as a fast fit technician or motor vehicle fitter.
This course is for those who are already working as a fast fit technician or motor vehicle fitter and want to demonstrate their competence – or those who want to receive training to start a role in this sector.
Learners will develop their knowledge and skills in relation to testing batteries, tyres, exhausts and engine parts to find faults, replacing/repairing faulty parts and advising on simple maintenance issues. Core competencies include working as part of a team, engaging with customers to provide good service and an awareness of health and safety.
Privately this course would cost £800 + VAT
Payment option 1: If you pay in full on enrolment you will be entitled to a 5% discount.
Payment option 2: Pay a 30% deposit and then 10 monthly direct debit payments.
LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN VEHICLE FITTING COMPETENCE
You must be a new employee, or an existing employee taking on a new role to take part in the programme.
Entry to the level 3 apprenticeship is by progression from the apprenticeshipsni level 2
course in vehicle fitting. Employers may also apply their own criteria at the recruitment
stage.
You may also enter the level 3 apprenticeship, subject to assessment by Rutledge Training.

Achievement of a level 3 apprenticeship in vehicle fitting operations will be assessed by
verification through Rutledge Training. You must complete both the competence-based and the knowledge-based qualification, along with the mandatory essential skills qualifications.
