Suitable for those just beginning their careers in Health and Social Care and wish to gain an understanding on the basics of Adult Social Care.

The City & Guilds Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care (Northern Ireland) is a competence-based qualification specifically designed for learners who work in Adult Social Care in Northern Ireland in a range or roles.

This qualification allows learners to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and career progression in Adult Care.

Suitable for a range of Healthcare Professional job roles like Senior Day Care Worker, Senior Support Worker, Senior Care Worker/Assistant, Community Mental Health Worker, Housing Support Worker and Team Leaders

It is a management and supervisory based course that focuses on assessing development of knowledge, understanding and skills in leadership and management practice within Health and Social Care in a Residential capacity.

Designed specifically for those who work in a Residential capacity within the Health and Social Care across the following roles: Registered Managers, Managers, Assistant Managers and Senior care/support workers/supervisors.

This course is made up of a selection of mandatory units and a choice of optional modules who can choose to compliment your current job role. Topics include:

  • Use and develop systems that promote communication
  • Promoting Professional Development
  • Develop health and safety and risk management policies procedures and practices in the sector
  • Lead practice that supports positive outcomes for child and young person development
