Rutledge Trainee's Interview - Series 3

Can you briefly tell us about yourself and your career?

I am an outgoing 23 year old guy; I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I have been working as a customer service advisor for almost two years in Firstsource.

 

Can you tell us about your experiences on the course?

 My first qualification with Rutledge was an NVQ level 2 Contact Centre Operations qualification. Since completing level 2, I’ve now progressed to level 3. I feel that the course is well organised and tailored specifically to my job role, and has helped me progress within my industry.

 

What has been the main benefit from the course?

On completion of level two, I progressed to floor walking.  In this role I provide valuable support and assistance to new employees at Firstsource.  The knowledge and experience gained through the course with Rutledge assisted me to carry out the duties associated with floor walking.

 

Since doing the course do you feel it has assisted you in your current job?

I feel that I have gained more confidence and knowledge in contact centre policies, and procedures. I also feel that I have gained experience on effective management techniques, which I have applied to my new position.

 

Do you feel the support from course lecturers & facilities were adequate?

I feel I have been given 100% one to one support from my tutor Jenny and she has provided me with excellent resources and guidance in completing my assignments.

 

If you could sum up the course in a few words what would they be?

An invaluable learning experience. 

 

Would you recommend doing a qualification at Rutledge to friends or colleagues?

Yes 100%, the facilities, support, and course content were all excellent.

 

What's next in your career?

I would like to gain more experience within my current role and progress to first line management within the company.
