Rutledge Recruitment and Training  Magherafelt, thrive on celebrating the achievements of past and current students at our Branch.  This year, we have celebrated the success of past Training for Success trainee and current Childcare Apprentice, Chloe Lennox for her achievements and progression.

Chloe returned to learning in September 2013 and just a few short years later was nominated by her Essential Skills tutor Clare Buchanan for the 2015 DEL Essential Skills Awards. The purpose of the awards was to celebrate the achievements and successes of students who have excelled in Essential Skills training in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT.  Chloe’s entry was ‘Highly Commended’, so she was invited with a guest and her tutor to an awards ceremony at Riddel Hall, Queen’s University Belfast.  The ceremony provided an opportunity to meet other students from across Northern Ireland, which was hosted by Media Presenter Sarah Travers, while presentations were presented by Minister for Department for Employment and Learning Dr Stephen Farry.

Chloe achieved minimal qualifications while at school; she decided to return to education after GCSE level. Since returning to education Chloe has built up an impressive portfolio of qualifications and  continues to grow in confidence, building a rapport with fellow trainees and course tutors. Chloe  achieved Essential Skills Level 1 Numeracy, progressed to and gained a Level 2 Numeracy  qualification during her Training For Success course. In addition to this Chloe also achieved Level 1 ICT, completed and achieved her Level 2 QCF Childcare, Learning & Development in 2015

Chloe's experience has inspried fellow trainees; motivating them  to achieve their qualifications and goals and put 100% effort into their education.  Individuals have been encouraged to find placements by Chloe to hopefully gain an Apprenticeship at a young age.  She has also met new people who have become good friends throughout her time in training.  Since Chloe gained a childcare placement, she has built up her confidence working with other adults and also with young children. Chloe recently  gained an Apprenticeship to complete her Level 3 Childcare at Rutledge with tutor Catherine Kidd

The staff at Rutledge Recruitment and Training, Magherafelt would like to congratulate Chloe on her achievements.
