Vacancy: Sales Executive (Ref: rj/878/se)

Base: Mid Ulster (Magherafelt)

Contract: Full-Time /Permanent

Hours of work: 37.5 per week

We have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the team; with the responsibility of generating sales across all Rutledge services. Comfortable working with a wide range of people, you’re great at adapting the way you communicate too, depending on the customer. What’s more, you're flexible in your approach, empathetic and understanding. However, you never lose sight of your targets, understand the importance of KPIs and enjoy nothing more than delivering a truly first class sales experience.

Main Duties will include;

  1. Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
  2. Cold call potential customers to prospect for new business.
  3. Identify new markets and business opportunities.
  4. Act as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets.
  5. Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales.
  6. Gather market and customer information.
  7. Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
  8. Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
  9. Manage own performance on an on-going basis.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 GCSE’s/Level 2 to include Maths and English (Grade A-C)
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a sales and business development role
  • A proven track record of business to business sales from initial contact, through preparation of proposals to winning the business
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding targets in a similar sector (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of selling training programmes (Desirable)

  • Ability to be self-disciplined with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to efficiently work towards targets
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Computer literate

Circumstances

  • Full Driving License and Access to Transport for business use
  • Immediate start (Desirable)
