Vacancy: Health and Social Care Tutor (Level 5) (Ref: rj/928/HSC)

Base: Belfast or Bangor

Contract: Part-Time / Fixed-Term contract 1 year

Hours: 30 hours per month

The Role:

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated team of professionals, to deliver outstanding teaching to our students working within the Health and Social care profession. We have a clear vision to deliver a high standard of technical training to all of our learners and we are searching for the best in the Health and Social Care industry to help us achieve our goals.

 

Alongside a relevant Health and Social Care qualification you'll also have experience working in the industry within a management/supervisory capacity.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of duties in relation to the recruitment, delivery and assessment of learners. Where required you will be responsible for the internal verification of qualifications in accordance with Awarding Body, ETI and company quality assurance systems.


The Essential Mix 

  • ·         GCSE/Level 2 Maths and English (Grade A*- C)
  • ·         Minimum Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification
  • ·         Minimum 1 years hands-on experience in a health and social care setting within a managerial/supervisory role
  • ·         Full Driving License and Access to Transport for business use
  • ·         Desire to live and breathe company core values

 

The Desirable:

 

  • ·         Level 5 (or above) qualification in Health & Social Care
  • ·         Relevant Assessing Qualification (A1, D32/3, TAQA)
  • ·         Certificate in Teaching Qualification (or working towards)
  • ·         Experience of Assessing candidates
