Rutledge Recruitment Ltd is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Domiciliary Care Manager. For the right candidate this is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop with the business’s Healthcare Division.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Domiciliary Care element of the business with regards to quality, growth, and people. You will have good working knowledge of Domiciliary Care.


Growing and developing the business are essential parts of the role, along with working within agreed budgets and achieving targets. Production of weekly/monthly and ad-hoc reports and building and maintaining relationships with our key stakeholders are also key.


Main Duties:

  • Adhere to the Domiciliary Care Agencies minimum standards and regulations and also ensure the service offered is compliant with all legislation
  • Actively participate in the growth and development of the business
  • Recruit, select and effectively supervise the team members
  • Responsible for all staff to plan, allocate and evaluate the workload of all staff
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of our standards through the use of quality control systems and maintenance of monitoring systems
  • Ensuring safeguarding/protection requirements are met, as well as keeping computerised and manual records up to date


The post is subject to an Enhanced Access NI check, suitable references and the ability of the manager to become registered with the RQIA.


The Essential Mix:


One of the below professional qualifications

a)      a professional social work qualification or

b)     a first level registered nurse;


a minimum of four years work experience in a health or social care setting. At least two years of this experience must be in a relevant management capacity.




Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults’ Management)   and a minimum of five years practice experience in a health and social care which must    include at least two years relevant experience in an operational management capacity.

Registered with NISCC

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

IT literate

Full clean driving license with access to own transport.
