JOB ROLE: Branch Manager (rj/1001/bm)

CONTRACT: Full-Time /Temporary Maternity Cover (9 months)

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday)

BASE: Armagh

SALARY: £22,000 - £30,000 per annum

We are looking for a self-driven, highly motivated Branch Manager to manage the day to day operations of our Armagh training branch. This will include operational, financial, human resources and development of new business; in line with overall aims of the organisation.

The successful candidate should have previous experience in a management position within a training organisation; and be familiar with the ApprenticeshipNI and Training for Success programmes.

This post is a temporary maternity cover for a period of 9 months.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, forecast, and  report on sales, costings and business performance,
  • Grow and develop the business; in line with monthly KPIs
  • Manage effective programme management (compliance) in your branch in accordance with company and DfE guidelines.
  • Ensure pastoral care is a key focus for all learners and staff.
  • Control income and expenditure for allocated branches within the allocated budgets.
  • Monitor variance reports on a monthly basis in conjunction with the Operations Director to ensure the branch is profitable and feasible.
  • Ensure effective performance management of all staff .
  • Act as a deputy designated officer for Child Protection and Vulnerable Adults.
  • Conduct quarterly Health and Safety assessments and risk assessments.

Your Profile (Essential Criteria)

  • Minimum 2 years experience working with government-funded programmes; preferably Training for Success and ApprenticeshipsNI
  • Minimum 1 years experience managing a team
  • A proven track record of business to business sales
  • Experience of managing a budget

  • Ability to manage a team to achieve results

Circumstances

  • Full Driving License and Access to transport for business use
  • Qualification in Management (Desirable)
