Job Role: Bid Writer

Base: Northern Ireland

Contract: Full-Time and Part-Time hours considered (permanent post)

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer to join the Rutledge Team at a time of growth and expansion. The role can be based at any of our sites across the network; and we are open to flexibility around hours and working pattern.

 

The successful candidate will work closely with our Head of Departments; and Senior Management Team. Travel will also be a requirement for the role.

 

The successful applicant must have meticulous attention to detail and accuracy; and take pride and care in their work. They must be self-driven and highly motivated.  

 

Job duties include (not exhaustive):

  • Discovering potential new business opportunities;
  • Liaising with department heads, clients and stake holders;
  • Data collection (both internal and external)
  • Design, write and check bid documentation and present compelling bids;

 

Your Profile (The Essentials)

  • 5 GCSE/Level 2 qualifications to include Numeracy and Literacy (Grade A* - C)
  • Minimum two years experience of bid writing and tender submissions
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong communication skills

 

  • Degree in English (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of training and recruitment sector with NI and ROI (Desirable)
