CEO of Rutledge Group Jonathan Doherty announces the takeover, that happened earlier this month. He states:
"I have great pleasure in announcing the takeover of Larne & Ballymena Skills Development Ltd to Rutledge Training Ltd from 1st July 2019. The business predominately offers training in Engineering to over 110 learners; which creates an immense opportunity for Rutledge to expand into this sector."
This means Rutledge Training will be adding a brand new course to its catalogue; Engineering. The course covers Welding and Fabrication, Performing Engineering Operations, Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering, and Engineering Operations.
We now have the opportunity to offer it on the Funded Training for Success and Apprenticeship Programmes, as well as to Private Learners and Corporate Clients.
Jonathan continues, "all students and employees will remain within the current Larne Skills Development Ltd sites in Larne (Ledcom Industrial Estate) and Ballymena (Braid River Business Park). We will be welcoming eight new staff members to our team; with the vision of expanding on this number to meet business needs.
This exciting new opportunity will bring our current network within Northern Ireland to 16 sites, and help the company fulfill its vision of becoming the leading training organisation in NI.
As our company continues its path in this positive direction; we greatly appreciate the commitment from our colleagues, as we work through this transition period. I would like to extend my appreciation to the Rutledge Team who have committed their time to this project over the past weeks, and for those who will be involved in the future.
I hope you will join me in welcoming our new colleagues to Team Rutledge and introducing them to our company culture and core values."
Mr. Jonathan Doherty (Chief Executive Officer)
